Our tin containers are designed to meet the high standards for food contact packaging. The inks and coatings used for our food packaging tins are FDA approved. Our tins are also 100% infinitely recyclable. This means that the steel we use can be recycled over and over without loss of quality and in turn, helps conserve energy. A tinplate box doesn't require the use of strong adhesive, making the production process more environmentally friendly. In addition, tinplate is recyclable- the tin itself has a characteristic that other packaging materials don't have. It can be magnetized, making it easier to recycle from waste. This is just one of the many advantages of tinplate packaging- its sustainability.
